Where can I find information about attending the NBC presidential debate set for Jan. 23 at USF?

NBC presidential debate set for Jan. 23, 2011 at USF

Is there a way that citizens can attend this debate and if so, how would one do that? Thank you!

None of the links give information, yet, on obtaining tickets. The best thing would be to contact the university directly as they’re hosting it.

I kept searching my menu for where the Republican presidential debate would come on Monday night, and couldn’t find it, so where on TV will it be re-run in its entire form and when?

Despite equal or higher ratings in recent CNN polls compared to other candidates invited, Gary Johnson is has been excluded from the June 13, 2011 presidential debate hosted in part by CNN.
I know CNN already stated they wouldn’t invite him, my question is asking for opinions/thoughts – not whether or not he’ll be invited.

CNN already stated he would not be invited. Might have something to do with him almost coming to tears during the Fox News debate because he didn’t think he was getting enough questions. My source includes more of him crying.

Well my thoughts on it are…not to put too fine a point on it….good. Johnson will never even place 6th place in a primary. He is basically "Ron Paul lite" and I don’t even want Ron Paul invited. There are way too many candidates that have a reasonable chance to hear from.

Anyway to watch the first GOP Presidential Debate without watching it on Fox News?

I want to watch the Presidential GOP debate tonight at 9pm ET but my apartment complex doesn’t subscribe to Fox News (although they do subscribe with MSNBC and CNN). Is there any other place I can watch the debate. Somewhere online? Will Fox Business stream the debate? Thanks for answering!

Online possibly? CSPAN? I guess we know the politics of those that decide what cable stations your complex gets. Agree or disagree with a stations politics, can you say censorship? Too bad you’re not given the opportunity to purchase your own cable and decide your own station packages. Hmmm, sounds a bit like the kind of government mandated and controlled services they provide. Isn’t it nice to have your choices taken out of your hands. Don’t worry. They’ll do the thinking for you. They know whats best for you anyways and apparently do your apartment managers.

Which do you want: red herrings or fallacies? They’re slightly different things.

For example, McCain kept pushing for the elimination of earmarks, implying that this was really important to reducing our debt. Obama countered that earmarks make up only a tiny tiny fraction of the budget, so eliminating them wouldn’t accomplish much.

Was the last Republican presidential debate better without the "Top Tier" candidates?

For some reason the most popular Republican candidates (Romney, Huckabee, Trump, Gingrich) snubbed the first Republican presidential primary debate. I watched it and I felt like it was a better debate because of that. Those candidates mentioned usually seemed well coached and talk a lot without actually saying anything. Their absence left a lot more room for the lesser known candidates who seem more likely to speak plainly and directly. What do you think?

Actually, one "top-tier" candidate showed up. That candidate was Ron Paul. He polls at the same level as those you mentioned and actually polls better than any of them in a head-to-head with Obama (according to a CNN poll from last week). Actually, I would go further and say that Ron Paul is the candidate to beat because he can raise more money than anybody else (with the exception of Obama).

The first Republican presidential debate is scheduled for May 5, 2011 in South Carolina and sponsored by Fox News. Only Rick Santorum has confirmed that he is participating. Though Michele Bachmann said that if an exploratory committee was required to participate she would form one in April.

I thought McCain was a tad bit too redundant and a little shaky on issues (foreign affairs) that he is suppose to be great in.
