What are good debate topics?
were doing debate in our drama class, and we get to pick our own topics. my friend and i need a really good topic that will really interest many people including our self. We are in middle school, so we need topics that are appropriate for us.
- Foreign policy — National identity — Immigration or not ?
- How does entertainment shaped our lives and viewpoints ? It’s influence ?
- Eating disorders — the fact that male eating disorders has skyrocketed
Should School funding go more towards sports/activities or towards the arts/music

There are lots of topics and we did a debate recently in my class and I whent on to get a medal at a state competition
haha but yeah
things like abortion and polotics are kind of hard to debate about in middle school but theres alot of things to discuss about them.
then theres things like school rules and laws that apply to you.
i don’t know your school’s rules but things like not being allowed electronics or dress code are big
racism (beause everyone knows about it)
prices for things like cars gas coffee and how its all too expensive v.the company needs money
just look around you and look for things you don’t like and then debate!
