Is it possible for every innocent to debate effectively and make a strong case in Court without a laywer?

Is it possible for every innocent to debate effectively and make a strong case in Court without a laywer?
Please explain how that would be possible or not. Thanks.

Of course not. Just because you are innocent does not turn you into a legal genius or a confident public speaker.

If there is strong circumstancial evidence pointing to your guilt then you need skill and experience to spot the weaknesses in the evidence and to point them out. Without a trained lawyer even an entirely innocent person might not be able to do this.
