    if you look at them talking when mccain taps obama on the shoulder, he passes the handshake, not in a ignorant way to the woman beside him. McCain makes a comment and both him and obama have a quick laugh and keep on greeting people. This is nothing but the media twisting something so people will react.

    @Zane777077: There’s a dark side to this guy that was largely obfuscated by his being the darling of the press with his “maverick” posture in the Senate, and by his being the victim of a raw deal by Bush/Rove in the 2000 primaries. But there’s a lot of ugliness in his history. I think a McCain presidency would have looked a lot like Nixon’s — a man obsessed with enemies, both real and imagined. Regardless of any shortcomings one may find in Obama, I’m glad we dodged that bullet.
