   thanks….what I am really trying to understand is the actual mechanics of how savings go to business and they start investing and start hiring…I am not that smart but an explaination of this would really help me thx!

   The reason is because savings must come before investment. What people who don’t understand economics miss with Schiff is the deeper meaning of what he’s saying. The economy does not grow from consumption-it is indeed an induction towards production-but grows from saving, i.e retention of physical matter in some form more valuable than what we call it when it has been transformed, i.e. consumed capital. Understand this, know that loanable funds have to be saved for businesses to borrow

   as i side note schiff will be a regular on fast money twice a week tuesday and thursday from 5pm EST THIS IS GREAT NEWS;;;and my fast money is that ratrings on these shows will explode…it’s a smart move by CNBC and well deserved for Schiff. If only they had done it sooner!
