McCain may shift his position, but it tis not according to the political wind, but rather to the times and what our country needs, ie. Ron Paul would probably have defeated McCain in a debate over the economy, since McCain does not really understand it. If Obama can win that debate he may have a chance, as the statistics are showing that the majority of the United States population is against the war, and want to withdraw their soldiers.
