lol she looks like a pornstar I’ve seen

    Why do you think …
Why do you think they call it Faux News? It’s beyond me why conservatives aren’t embarrassed and absolutely offended by Rupert Murdock.

  3. This has got to be …
This has got to be one of the most unimportant useless pieces of reporting fox has ever done. like this happens all the time. All fox is trying to make it seem like Christianity is under attack. For all u fucktards out there her speech is suppose to represent the entire graduating class. Its not like everyone is christian.

  4. I shouldn’t say …
I shouldn’t say these days though, we’ve never held these rights in history.

  5. It’s not by going …
It’s not by going to public school that you lose these rights, it’s by being a child that you lose these rights. Minors can’t do jack-shit these days, we have no rights at all. We can’t vote, we can’t drink, we can’t speak certain ways to people we dislike yet they can disrespect us in turn all they want. It’s total bullshit.

    not in a public …
not in a public school. ur freedom of speech is restricted along with other constitutional rights. thats the social agreement you make when you go to a school thats paid for through taxes.

  7. lambeauleap66 on May 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

    people need to …
people need to realize an important fact….by going to public school you give up certain constitutional rights. search and seizure is one…principals can search ur locker whenever they want. free speech is the other. by entering a public school, ur speech is restricted. so there is no free speech issue here. she blatantly knew what she was doing was wrong since she went against what they rehearsed

  8. i’m wondering how …
i’m wondering how that statement didn’t seem completely out of place. Does anyone know what the previous few lines were?cause randomly invoking Christ should have stuck out compared to the rest of the speech.

    I wonder what Fox …
I wonder what Fox would have said if the student made a reference to Islam or some other religion.

    @Obstkuchen11 …
@Obstkuchen11 Getting good grades doesn’t mean your smart, but a very hard worker

  11. She’s the “smartest …
She’s the “smartest kid” at her school, and she’s a heavy Christian? Wow, there must be some REALLY stupid kids there.

    I would agree, but …
I would agree, but look at it from the schools point of view. lets say it was an employer and you needed to make a public statement. you tell your employer one thing then turn around and say something different(that causes your employer problems) even if its in your rights to say so. do you think you would have a job the next day? She was not just speaking for herself but the whole school, plus she lied and its hard for me to support dishonest people.

  13. Yes thank one of …
Yes thank one of the many omnipotent deities out there that its America with freedom of speech…but also America where theres suppost to be seperation of church and state….i guarantee the founding fathers would be appalled at the religious coercion of politics these days….

    Thanks God I …
Thanks God I decided to work towards graduating?
    WTF?
Nobody earns anything in christianity… it’s only given… what bs… well then I guess the homeless should love their condition, because that’s what God gave them :P

    Ultimately she has …
Ultimately she has freedom of speech in America. God bless America and the freedom to speak our mind!

    To those who have …
To those who have not given their life to the Lord Jesus Christ, they will never understand the need to praise God for something as special as a graduation.
So, for an unsaved person the only response to such an action would be negative.

  17. ThyWordIsALamp on May 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

    Jesus is the center …
Jesus is the center of a Christians life. Nothing supersedes His glory as we live out our calling for Him.

  18. ThyWordIsALamp on May 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

Why did she have to …
Why did she have to sneak her comments about her Savior in – in the first place? Isn’t this America? Praise the Lord we are not accountable to man but to God. The school is wrong to withhold her diploma – she earned that and it was not the schools place to withhold it in order to coerce an apology.

Praise God that man will never stop the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  19. questionsamson on May 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

    I don’t see why …
I don’t see why mentioning Jesus Christ gave the principle the right to deny her a diploma.

No, as I pointed out at 2:20, Fox left out the fact that the speech was pre-approved at a rehearsal and that Erica Corder gave a speech different from the speech that was pre-approved. Telling the school she was giving a different speech was dishonest and a rules violation which Fox News never mentioned

    Thx 4 commenting :-)

    This has nothing to …
This has nothing to do with religion, just breaking verbal contracts…

  24. fireflygirl246 on May 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

    I would have …
I would have supported her right as a student to say what ever she wants, but then i found out she lied about what she was going to say. so you lose the moral high ground after that.
