What’s the deal with having only a Chinese debate club in my high school? Why isn’t there an English one?

Why is that the case? There’s also a Mandarin club, as well. I live in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and attend Unionville High School, the school in question.

There may be no demand for one.. find a faculty sponsor (a teacher you’re on good terms with) as well as some other interested students and see if you can get one going
