The debate over this question has been UN-ending! So I quite literally wrote Ubisoft themselves. I got a response from an OFFICIAL Ubisoft representative and this was his answer in quotations!!! (My personal final thought after all of this? I don’t care who it is anymore. Heehee

Honestly there is no hard and fast rule on who it is as it is a bonus item and not canon to the game. So if you wanted it to be Altair it can be Altair, if you believe it is Ezio dressed as Altair that works too.
Perhaps it is Jade Raymond, the AC producer, dressed as Ezio, pretending to be Altair

But as I have been doing that the past couple months I have picked up a certain words and it has really helped me out. I actually used Yahoo Babel fish to translate what you wrote and it gave me a REALLY crappy translation. I then used the knowledge I’ve gained thus far to guess what I thought it would truly be. So, I guess you could call it a combination of both?

Yes, completely but if you own a Xbox 360 then you have to have an XBL subscription. Ubisoft made it to be free but can’t help the fact that Microsoft charges to connect to the internet. -=/

Now tell me that you are going to try and experience the DLC’s sometime?!? hehe The Bonfires of The Vanities DLC is really cool because it’s all about assassinating all the targets. Assassinate them and before the cutscene ends press start, and abort the memory. . . then go back and assassinate them again. Just a fun way to experience one of the most fun aspects of the game again and again.
