There was one group that mailed several hundred thousand joints to random NYC citizens with a note that said "you are now in possession of marijuana and are in violation of the law." in an attempt to show people the stupidity of the anti-marijuana laws. Legalization of marijuana has been vary prevalent since the 60's. I would start there and work my way to the present. Also I would include how it could help lighten the countries dependance on trees for our paper supply. Hemp makes good strong paper, rope, and cloth, and it is a renewable resource. Also I would include data from the several scientific studies done on marijuana and show that practically every negative stereotype that goes along with marijuana and its consumption is basically a scare tactic at heart and has little if any scientific evidence backing it up.
