How should I write my Debate topic statement for speech class?

My topic for debate is Scientology.
My group has agreed that we all think Scientology is very silly and stupid, and we do not believe it should be considered as a religion.
We also know that the Church of Scientology has ruined lives and asks for money just to get a higher "ranking" or something like that.

My information may be a bit shaky or inaccurate as far as I know, so that’s where you guys come in.

If we’re against Scientology, which would be a good debate statement?

It has to be in this format

The (Name of Organization) should (Action)

Resolved, the organization known as The Church of Scientology should lose its status as a religion under US law, and its associated privileges under the US tax code.

The church of scientology should not have any status as a religion in the religious institutions recognized by our country.
