How to be persuasive in a debate?

(persuasive means convincent)…..ITS URGENT!

1. Know the strong points of your own argument and communicate them clearly.
2. Know the strong points of your opponents arguments, and know how to discredit the arguments effectively.
3. Keep your segments short and to the point, but also be ready to give real examples when needed.

These are some main steps to follow that should help.

Make sure not to get off topic and use strong verbs, such improved or enhanced, depending on what the debate is about.
