True. Like I said above, he’d be a great used car salesmen. He can make anything sound good, when its fundamentally flawed in reality.

  2. @davidhansom123 I …
@davidhansom123 I acknowledge christianity’s claim one exists. To think from all i have written here i think a superman in the sky exists but i reject him like a petulant child is frankly retarded. Im sorry for your utter inability to read and understand simple concepts. I hate religions, they do exist, all too strongly, too ask why only tells me of your blinkered and rose tinted view of it. Goodle ‘Giordano Bruno’ for one of countless reasons why.

@Scanini oh so u do acknowledge god.U just reject him.So why do u hate something so much that does not exist.

    YESSS !
He’s able to sell any piece of junk to many a’ many not so bright purchasers and, do it by using the most proper, immaculate English vocabulary available.
Immensely strong expressions, grammatically correct piece of fallible oratory is coming from the mouth of this deluded ( or, maybe just cynical) religious bigot and deceiver.
Although, I must admit: The first class debater. Better, much better than Joseph Goebbels. The voice, the look, the power, the right words.

    I wish Joe …

I wish Joe Blackburn would start debating people.

  7. @pkingo1 Im happy …
@pkingo1 Im happy to say “we dont know yet.” Why is this so hard for theists to say?

  8. @pkingo1 I agree …
@pkingo1 I agree 100% we have gaps in our knowledge of the universe, but i appreciate the gaps being filled with demonstrable data, verifiable evidence or testable hypothosis not spiritual woo woo or trancendental supernatural waffle, which is the theists standpoint, a theory that would have me believe in an all powerful superbeing that created all the universe just so he could worry about who i sleep with and in what way or what i eat or dont, its ridiculous to even entertain these statements.

    On “Fine Tuning of …
On “Fine Tuning of intelligent life”:
Isn’t it possible that what we know as intelligent life developed to fit the laws of the universes. Under this idea, Life could have formed under different conditions, but that version of life would be different from the version of life that we are used to.

  10. @Scanini If you …
@Scanini If you appreciate people challenging your assumptions why do you oppose theists so ardently? I’m not saying you should buy into WLC’s christian worldview (i certainly won’t), but acknowledge that there are some really significant gaps in our present day naturalistic explaination of the universe and our existance.

  11. @pkingo1 If we are …
@pkingo1 If we are being brutally honest here they dont even have any theory at all to explain the cosmos or biological evolution or abiogenesis or chemical processes or germ theory or quantum theory or gravity etc etc etc, all they got is a 2000 yr old book written by a geocentric bigoted people and a claim, “god did it”. I know which school of reason and knowledge im sticking with.

  12. @pkingo1 Im happy …
@pkingo1 Im happy with present assumptions being challenged, im even more happy when the assumption is proven wrong and the theory has to be changed as this is a move forward in our knowledge, einstien said if data came in to prove his theory of reletivity wrong he would throw out all his work with yesterdays newspapers, he as all scientists will happily abandon any belief with one that is supported with evidence and data, sadly for the deluded they have no data or evidence for thier claims.

  13. @Scanini So is …
@Scanini So is illusions of knowledge, that is why I appreciate people who challenge present assumptions

    @tipoomaster

lol…I’ve said this many times about him. He is a slime ball,…the perfect “used car” sales man. A master of carefully worded bullshit.

  15. @1n354a
    Lol, true.

    @1n354a
    Lol, true.

  16. @tipoomaster yeah …
@tipoomaster yeah but he would be the kind that would leave you feeling dirty all over…the kind of dirty that no amount of bathing could ever remove.

When I think of the Christian fairy tale, a personality like WLC would be a great fill-in for the mythical snake.

  17. creation ex nihilo …
creation ex nihilo is ubiquitous in quantum mechanics, the total energy of the universe is exactly zero, there would be no life in a universe unsuitable for it to observe it, all morality is relative but rooted in powerfully strong evolved predispositions supported by societies, and both resurrections and gross embellishment were common back then

craig always uses the same busted points :/

  18. WLC would be a …
WLC would be a great car salesmen.

  19. @Addy4473 You must …
@Addy4473 You must see according to you im risking eternal damnation and torture to deny god, i deny him utterly with all my being, i even think this religion of vicarious redemption is vile and disgusting, i think the bible is a bigoted ancient tomb of a backward geocentric people. If i die and im faced with you god i will still not bow down to this jealous, infantile hate mongerer, i will burn forever in his as a beacon of light to freedom and to say i was against his us and them bullshit

  20. @Addy4473 The …
@Addy4473 The fluffy bunny analogy i used to try to let you see how silly it is to ask me to just let jesus into my heart, its the same as me asking you to let the bunny into your heart, i dont believe in your jesus just the same way as you dont believe in my bunny. a waste of time.

  21. @Addy4473 I do …
@Addy4473 I do accept there may be a god, i would not be a reasoned position to claim there is not one, i just have not seen one bit of evidence that proves his existence. I still wait for anything more than refering to the bible (not good evidence for such an unbelieve able claim) or emotional reasoning to open my heart (something i have said again and again will not work as i need evidence and demonstrable data for belief) and just let him in.

  22. @Addy4473 The bible …
@Addy4473 The bible was put together by the early church leaders, they put the names of the disiples of the gospels on the finished articles, they rejected alot of material from other ancient sources, other tales and stories that didnt mesh too well with the christian outlook. I feel many things, empathy and love, fun and brothership, i just dont attribute this to a magicman. I dont hear voices and those that do i hope get help, as this is a potential problem if that voice says kill.

  23. @Addy4473 …
@Addy4473 fabricated, and that can be proven. You even admit that it is. :) God is not a man-made invention for fame, popularity, hope, etc. He is real. Whether you believe in my testimony or not is in your hands. I do wish you would analyze the data accepting that maybe there could be a God, that maybe God has a divine Son. You have to open your mind to the possibility. :)

  24. @Scanini So what …
@Scanini So what would you classify the books of the Bible deriving from? Anywho, millions of people seeing pink elephants? Show me sources outside of your assumption that prove that. :) Anywho. It all depends on the mental frame of mind of these people. Millions of people claim there isn’t a God. They claim they don’t “feel” God or that science doesn’t prove God. I seriously think it’s just something that’s built up on a lack of feeling God. But anywho. You see, your fluffy bunny thing is

  25. @Addy4473 Again …
@Addy4473 Again emotional reasoning will not work on me, i dont believe your god exists to love me, its like me telling you i worship a fluffy bunny that only i can see and he loves you too, he will save you from the death rat if you just accept him into your heart, all he wants is to love you and all i want is for you to believe in him, if you dont your soul will the death rats and me and bunny will be sorry but we did warn you! You see how pathetic i sound?
