so the sin goes ot …
so the sin goes ot and person goes to heaven.
@brizzoke Ahh, …
@brizzoke Ahh, there’s that sanctimonious self-righteousness that I love to hear from you Christians!
Learn who Buddha, Muhammad, Reverend Moon, and L Ron Hubbard are, while you still have time.
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook Most of the passages I quoted or cited, including the one from my last post, have been from the OT.
My beliefs are based on God’s very Word–the same Word you neither read nor understand. I’m not an idolater because Jesus and the Father are O-N-E.
You can have the last word here, but Jesus will have the last word in the end, for all judgment has been given to His hand. Learn who He is, while you still have time.
@brizzoke It’s not …
@brizzoke It’s not blasphemy to deny human-God hybrids, or 3-part Gods. “Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God. The Lord is O-N-E.”
And you can stop quoting the NT to me because it means nothing to me. Just like the Quran, the Book of Mormon, and the Scientology Handbook mean nothing to you.
You are an idolator, my friend. Sorry!
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook Also, you have not responded to the scriptural evidence. Calling the teaching of Jesus and His apostles “nonsense” is blasphemy.
“Kiss the Son, lest He be angry….” Ps 2:12
@solpapisolmook If …
@solpapisolmook If God is only one part, then how can we be created in His image, and after His likeness if we are spirit, soul, and body? (Genesis reads “after Our image, and after Our likeness,” by the way)
“Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”
Matt 22:29
@brizzoke They’re …
@brizzoke They’re not my words. I’m simply paraphrasing God.
There is only ONE God. No 3 parts, no trinity or triune God. No human-God hybrids, None of that nonsense.
@solpapisolmook 1. …
@solpapisolmook 1. You are basically calling Jesus a blasphemer then. 2. If you were to read the passages I showed you, you would see that you were factually wrong.
@brizzoke Yes and …
@brizzoke Yes and no. I’m not saying that God “can’t take the form of a man. God can do anything He chooses. I’m saying that he WOULDN’T take the form of a man.
That is blasphemy.
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook Have you carefully read the passages???? “He will be called Everlasting Father, Mighty God.” Read also Micah 5:2, the Messiah’s goings forth have been from everlasting. Numbers reads that God is not a man that He should lie. God doesn’t have man’s sin nature, but are you saying the ALL POWERFUL YHWH CANNOT take the form of a man if He so chooses? If you think so, reread Genesis 18-19, Genesis 32, and Judges 13 to start. Read also what Jesus has to say about Himself.
@bobhawkins1966 …
@bobhawkins1966 There are a few places in Scripture where an overview is given and then it backtracks to give details. The writers of Scripture weren’t idiots. They would’ve seen the discrepancy and fixed it if it needed fixing, especially since there were no chapter breaks in those days. Adam and Eve had quite a few children in 900 years. Jesus touched my heart in college. I once was blind, but now I see. The Pharisees and Sadducees knew the Bible too, and Jesus still schooled them.
@brizzoke LOL ok. …
@brizzoke LOL ok. where does the Bible say that? I can show you where it says None of the scripture is for personal interpretation. So please tell me where it says chapter one is an overview. What about when Cain is made to leave the only other 2 living people and he is really scared and God says I will put a mark on you and they wont hurt you. WHO??? Everybody has misread the Bible, dont feel bad your not the only blind sheep out there. I can argue all day I’ve read the book many times.
@brizzoke None of …
@brizzoke None of those Torah passages say that he will be divine.
Numbers 23:19, on the other hand, explicitly and without any twisting – state that GOD IS NOT A MAN.
End of story right there.
@bobhawkins1966 …
@bobhawkins1966 Chapter 1 is an overview of creation. Chapter 2 goes back and gives the account of the garden.
@wolfpack1960 …
@wolfpack1960 You’re ignoring the book of Acts.
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook Jesus can’t be a prophet without being God or the Son of God. He is either Prophet, High Priest, Messiah AND God, or a liar. There is no room for in between. Search the Scriptures and see that the Messiah promised to Israel would in fact be divine. (Isaiah 7:14 [compare with Matthew 1:23); 9:6; Psalms 2; 45; 110; Zechariah 12:10).
@brizzoke Prophet? …
@brizzoke Prophet? Yes. God, or the Son of God? No.
Absolutely not.
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook First, Jesus was directing our attention to Psalm 22, showing that He was fulfilling prophecy. Second, doesn’t Muhammad hold that Jesus is a prophet? (Surah 19)
@brizzoke He also …
@brizzoke He also looked up at God (who is apparently himself) and asked why He had forsaken him, which seems to me that his plans didn’t pan out the way he assumed they would. That certainly wouldn’t happen to a prophet, if you ask me.
@solpapisolmook 1. …
@solpapisolmook 1. A prophet of God must have a %100 accuracy rate in his predictions. Muhammad did not. He contradicted straightforward teachings from the Hebrew Scriptures. 2. Muhammad did not recognize the death and resurrection of Jesus, as prophesied in the Hebrew Scriptures. Galatians reads that anyone (man or angel) who preaches another Gospel (not recognizing the death and resurrection) shall be eternally condemned. 3. Jesus said, “It is finished.” There is no need to add to His words.
@brizzoke Why is …
@brizzoke Why is Muhammad not of God? Why is he not a prophet?
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook I’ve researched Islam. There are a few problems: Muhammad is not of God, and he is not a prophet. His teaching contradicts the teaching of Jesus and His apostles. Jesus is the only fulfillment of the Hebrew Scriptures. Jesus is the only way our sins are forgiven. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. No one can go to the Father except through Him.
@solpapisolmook …
@solpapisolmook Actually I have since changed my mind about religion since leaving that but you bring up a good point. I am now trying to figure out how every religion claims only one God when God in chapter one(Genesis) creates Animals and later makes Man and Woman but then in Gen. chapter 2 Lord God makes Adam then animals and finally woman. This either proves the story is fake or maybe God and Lord God are 2 different Gods. Maybe Lord God is Lucifer, after all hes an A-hole
@bobhawkins1966 …
@bobhawkins1966 Then what’s the point of Jesus, if you still have to turn away from sin?
@johnpolanco18 But …
@johnpolanco18 But first, you need to accept Muhammad as the final prophet of God.
