  1. Her NC was way too …
Her NC was way too long and her rebuttals against the AC were too short
Maybe someone can clarify, but what was her value structure?

this is slower than i went when i was doing NFL LD. when you hear this on a regular basis, you just get used to it.

    Just thought I’d …
Just thought I’d write a quick comment: Since just short of a year ago when this was posted, there was a lot of discussion about whether or not this was appropriate for NFA LD. With this year’s Nationals about a month away, I thought I’d inform everyone that, after a year of judging since this round, this rate of speed is commonplace. Nevertheless, rounds can still be slowed down if they are thought to be too fast. I tell debaters that “my threshold for speed is your opponent’s.”

    nope, its called …
nope, its called spreading and if your in a finals round at nats you should be more than capable to handle a little spreadin’.

    She’s not going …
She’s not going that fast. You should see some real LD and CX debates with intense spreading. Also, the only thing retained from LD is the 1 v 1 format, and it is more like traditional CX i.e. no Ks, no weird args which is part of why policy has such charm. It would be better if it still has crazy and plans justified through heavy analytics which would be more of a LD-Policy fusion.

    The 1 v 1 format is …
The 1 v 1 format is what I always found terribly appealing. No partner to blame, sole control over strategy… Being the double 2 in NFL, it’s something I had always wanted in high school. But definitely not for everyone.

  10. I don’t like what …
I don’t like what NFA does with LD. It is just policy 1 v 1.

    In the NFA circuit, …
In the NFA circuit, this is called “LD-Policy.” It uses the 1 v. 1 structure of traditional LD while retaining the policy focus of policy debate.

  13. no im right, this …
no im right, this isnt LD because this resolution was for C.X

  14. this does not sound …
    this does not sound L.D…
i think speeding should be grounds for disqualification because it can be used as means of cheating.

  15. omg she was …
omg she was speeding… lol. and i thought i was a speed demon in debate, lol.
