    Michael Howard …
Michael Howard employs the typical centrist party tactic – ‘you better vote for us, because your favorite party doesn’t have a chance of getting in, and the result of you trying to work against us can only be the elevation of the greater-of-two-evils party’.
Adopt that logic, and you’ll never see the change you seek.

    @inkstersco He’s …
@inkstersco He’s contesting Buckinghamshire and is up against Tory MP John Bercow who is also the speaker of the house.

    No-one is voting …
    No-one is voting Nigel out.
He has stepped down to concentrate on getting in Westminster where he will really cause problems for the establishment parties.
I’m sure the last thing Nikki would want is to be recommended by an opposition party…..

    so UKIP members …
so UKIP members should know to vote Farage out to vote for the strongest opposition to Pearson (Nikki Sinclaire).

  6. He’s just dedicated …
He’s just dedicated. He feels like this country is partially his responsibility, whereas most MPs think about the money and the little effort they make.

I’ll be voting for you next election, UKIP, it’ll be special because I’m about to turn 18.

  7. this interview was …
this interview was brilliant, from the first 20 secs to when nigel dispels the “challenging the speaker” convention with the croydon north election, i was laughing in agreement the whole time. this is 1 of his best performances alongside blasting barosso and the gordon brown speech. great performance

Nigel Farage, a true British hero!

    If Nigel wins in …
If Nigel wins in Bucks, Bercow will no longer be speaker, unless Bercow is moved to another constituency of course.

    Go on Nigel. The …
Go on Nigel. The best thing about the truth is it is what it is. The thing about deception and lies is that you have to keep manipulating the facts to make them believable. It is about time someone stood and questioned these politicians about things they are not comfortable talking about. Keep going Nigel. We can win this fight. Save the UK from desp[otism. Vote UKIP.

  11. Lord pearson will …
Lord pearson will be great, he proved that he is all for free speach when he invited Geert Wilders to the UK, good luck UKIP.

  12. Poor old Michael …
Poor old Michael Howard. Still trotting out the useless promises of 2005. Doesn’t he realise the EU has pulled out the carpet from under his soggy feet?

  13. Splat! The sound of …
Splat! The sound of two weasels being Faraged!

  14. Very good interview …
Very good interview, well done Nige. But he shouldn’t have said that about the leadership race.

There are 3 quite credible candidates it seems. Mike Natrass, Gerald Batten and Nikki Sinclare (in that order). Not good for Nige to say that on national TV. But WazzokUK makes a good point about encouraging Tory defections.

  15. It is too late now …
It is too late now and thats very very sad, but the Lisbon Constitution is the Law. The only thing that you can do now is to leave this insane Union, and perhaps other countries will follow.

And Maybe in 20-30 years from now you can help all the people within the EU Walls to be released.

I used to be a Tory.

  24. Farage pretty much …
Farage pretty much wiped the floor with them in that interview.

I agree that Lord Pearson would be the best choice for leader.

He’d also potentially be able to encourage defections from the Tories and secure more funding through business contacts.
