Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg. Please join us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=100000868450604&ref=profile and Twitter http://twitter.com/VoteLabourUK to find out more Tory economic and social policies which would see the country go backwards under Cameron who is very much old Tory beneath the PR.

Under questioning from Brown, David Cameron had to admit that he cannot match Labour’s spending plans on schooling and policing. Yet, he has promised to cut inheritance tax for the richest and will have to cut public spending as a result. His efficiency saving also showed a lack of credibility after he was unable to outline in detail how savings of £6 billion would be made. Already the signs are there that the Tories would take us back to the 80’s where social policy let down the masses.

    UKIP for the future …
    UKIP for the future of Britain and the future of our children.
    Labour – Lies, failed promises
    Conservatives – Weakest party, weakest leader
    Lib Dems – Un experienced, Weak on immigration policy
    Greenpeace – Very nice caring people, however not leaders
    BNP – Uneducated, Uncapable

  11. It looks likely …
    It looks likely that the upcoming UK election will produce a “hung” parliament being likely to give us some kind of Proportional Representation. The consequence of which will be the end of the right-wing Con party [who get roughly 35% of the vote cast] ever getting into power again as an alliance of centre-left [Lib-Dem & Labour who command roughly 65% of the vote cast] will not require support from the Con reactionaries.

  12. Conservatives are …
    Conservatives are Labour are the polor opposites on policy and principles..
    If there is a hung parliament it will almost certainly be the Lib Dems and Labour doing a deal on some claptrap coalition government.

    @lewtube

    Hung …
    @lewtube

    Hung parliament means back room deals. Also, we had hung parliaments in the 1970s and the 1920s. Both times they ended up with the government almost going bankrupt and a sterling currency rout in the markets.

    Hung parliaments do not work. That is their history. To ask for another one is to ask for economic decline.

    @beaujam90

    Clegg wants an amnesty for illegal immigrants; he wants to abandon our nuclear weapons; he will tax the City to death with a 40% capital gains tax, which will drive business overseas; and he is totally in favour of Britain joining the Euro.

    All those policies are a disgrace. If you vote Lib Dem, you are voting for the abolition of Britain.

  15. I wish America had …
    I wish America had more than two parties…

  16. We all concede Nick …
    We all concede Nick Clegg (with 2 gees) did a darned good job in both debates so far!

    Didn’t Dave appear absolutely flummoxed throughout despite his supportive rightwing media saying otherwise?

    Remember, Cleg (with 1 gee) is a fly in the political ointment that will see the Cons already confused; will be confounded; with this election…Totally!

    LOL!

  17. I’m on the fence …
    I’m on the fence between lib dem and labour…although im leaning towards lib dem

    @beaujam90 They are …
    @beaujam90 They are all the same. The “debate” was good telly but in reality what is the debate. All three parties share same ideals and values.

  19. Three major …
    Three major conflicts: Kosova, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Only one member of this government has served in the armed forces; Lord West.
    Yet they send our boys overseas to do their dirty work. Would Blair and Brown have gone to war if their sons were in the army?

  20. The BBC hates the …
    The BBC hates the conservative party HATES HATES HATES

  21. The BBC hates the …
    The BBC hates the conservative party HATES HATES HATES hates!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Don’t vote for any …
    Don’t vote for any of the major parties, they’ve all been caught out with expenses scandals. Vote for a minority party and make these creeps earn our votes back, when they start losing seats they might wake up to the fact we don’t want their lies any more.

  23. My British friends, …
    My British friends, what are the polls saying? I have heard that Cameron’s Tory’s are about 6-9% ahead of the Labour Party. I’ve also heard that Labour has been gaining a bit and it could be a hung Parliament. Just a curious American.

  24. I just read the …
    I just read the comments on the Sun´s on line newspaper. All the Cameron won comments are being voted down yet their head-line is that he won. What a crock. Not even their readers believe it.
