I hope you’re right, but after the losses in Massachusetts, Virgina and New Jersey (where I’m from) I’m just not that confidant.
It’s not entirely to do with Obama mind you, it’s just that the Democratic Party seems so de-fanged right night while the Right continues to attack on all fronts. It’s like 1994 all over again.
I hope I’m wrong and that these elections were flukes – the result of poor planning and strategy – but who knows, when – as I said – the GOP is attacking on all fronts. : \

I can guarantee that Obama will get reelected, for two reasons:
First, the GOP is in shambles – it has no leadership, and it’s purging itself of moderates (keep an eye on the primaries this summer). Unless it disassociates itself entirely from the likes of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, the GOP cannot be taken seriously as an alternative.
Second, all policy aside, the Obama family is just too likable to lose. For better or worse, most elections are decided on a superficial basis.

@AboveAllNations I appreciate your confidence, but I’m afraid that the Right in this country is mobilizing on all fronts to ensure he is a single-term president. I hope he outsmarts them but it’s going to be a tough fight nonetheless.
