    this is where i disagree with my party. Im a proud republican but gays and lesbains have every right to serve openly in the military. If they want to volunteer and serve their country, why not, who cares if they are gay or not. People are born that way in my opinion. I think dont ask dont tell is unconsitiutional and needs to be abolished!

    The issue is reaching the Lost with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many Christians in the Military, so its a real deal issue. To say Gay is ok is to condemn them Everlasting Torment , we are Called to teach them the Gospel so they can come to know the Lord Jesus Christ and Be Saved!! This is the issue in the Military and out.
    The Mililtary protects us with guns and etc…, what if you could save a life, a soul, by Preaching the Good News and did not? Think about it. Jesus is Lord. Amen

    Seriously do you even know how many homosexuals are in the military. Just because they don’t say it because of the don’t ask don’t tell policy it doesn’t mean a thing. Not every homosexual is going to jump on every guy/girl they see. This is what me off. People are so conceited that they think just because someone is homosexual that the person will automatically be attracted to them. Just because someone is gay doesn’t mean they wouldn’t want to join the military.

McCain’s point: “it should be continued because it’s working.” General’s point: “It should be discontinued because it is morally wrong.” Which argument sounds stronger?

    He expects the candidates to step up and say that openly gay men and women should be able to serve in the military. Yet he didn’t have the balls to come out until after his retirement.

    Allowing Homosexuals in the military could be the best thing for moral. The ancient Romans not only allowed gays in the military, they encouraged it. If soldiers learn to fall in love with their fellow service men, they’ll risk so much more to defend them. And if said lover dies, you can bet the surviver will kill relentlessly. The Roman Empire had the greatest military in Western Europe, the civilization only fell due to problems with the government, the military was still intact.

    On McCain: The Generals are conservative and love to shove their beliefs on what they think is moral and hide behind the curtain of “unit cohesion.” Look at all the upper level serviceman that say that they are gay and served for in the US military and were treated fine and the unit was fine until the upper chain of command fired them after they found out.
