    You are right on the money and I am dissappointed in Giulliani’s answer because it shows you exactly what he thinks when it comes to Blacks in America.

    I liked Huckabee and I used to be a black Democrat. I’m still black. I was impressed with how he responded to the youtube question why blacks don’t vote republican. He said I would ask for their vote. I read that he got 48% of the black vote when he ran for governor in Arkansas. Hmmmmm, John McCain should think about that.

    BTW great question! I have noticed that most of my friends do vote democrat, while they consider me the typical white person since I vote Republican, oh well maybe next time around the parties will actually cross these racial lines that seem to have been drwan and I am hoping that Huckabee runs next time and gets Everyones support!

    I hope that you would recognize that CNN and the Democratic National Committee acted in collusion for the CNN Democratic debate.

    Who decided that Kucinich and Dodd would get less air time? The Republicans? What did Hillary say to Edwards after the debate?

    For evidence just look at the 6 inch thick stack of notes that each democrat candidate had and the canned responses. How is it a debate if the participants have foreknowledge of the questions and have prepared responses?

    ne. Ideally Blacks would vote ~50/50 R/D. And to make that happen either Dems would have to fuckup royally with regard to American race relations or Reps would have to acknowledge problems that disproportionately affect Blacks and work aggressively to solve them

    Initially, the GOP had the black vote. When FDR banned racial discrimination in the WWII effort, the Dems received some of the black vote. When the Civil rights act was signed (even though more Reps in the Senate and House supported it than Dems), the Dems received more of the Black vote.     Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate I’ve seen that is attracting black American voters. His campaign seems to be open to EVERY American—not just the Republicans.

    The Grand Old Party needs to evolve into an equal opportunity party. They need to work hard to redeem themselves from the image George Bush Jr. has given them. The GOP numbers will shrink if they only represent white, middle-class/wealthy Americans because America is slowly becoming a racially diverse nation.

    Most abortions are not because the mother is in direct danger, you are right. But if you say abortion is inhumane or murder, then how is OK sometimes? What it all comes down to is who has rights, and who’s rights count more. That sounds bad, but it is the basic choice we all have to make for this subject. My view is if you don’t want an abortion, don’t have one. And it is not always about the mother. Sometimes, even often, there is something wrong with the fetus.

    See? Brian cells are alive, but we kill them all the time (I mean, I hardly have any left, haha). No, abortion is not an easy decision, it is a mistake when anyone thinks it is. But, in the end, I think it is a) a personal chioce. and b) the mother is a full person, while the fetus is not. These are the two things that have most influenced my conclusion.

    wierdovedo (pt.2) If it is the life of the mother that is at stake, that is a different circumstance, so I still agree with Ron Paul, it should be decided at the state level. I think you will agree, most abortions are not because the mother is in danger. Every person I know who had an abortion felt the child was an inconvenience. I’ve always felt in my heart it was just inhumane.

    (pt.1) AHEM, and so are brain cells. An ant, how cute. squish, j/k, but on a serious note, first of all I’m not everywhere, I live in America, but this is not an easy decision. I couldn’t imagine what Ron Paul had to go through as a doctor. He must have dealt with life and death more often then the average bear. This is difficult, like I said but personally I would choose life.
